Al Ghanim Bilingual School (GBS) encourages students to participate in competitions to challenge themselves, demonstrate their talent, and build self-confidence. Arts and sports competitions are cited under the Arts and Athletic.

GBS students participate and earn top prizes in all competitions among private schools in Kuwait organized by the Private Education Directorate. These competitions involve Arabic subjects such as The Holy Quran Recitation Competition, The Holy Quran Memorization Competition, and Al-Hadeeth Al-Shareef Memorization Competition.

GBS students compete in international events such as the Math Olympiad and World Education Games. 

In addition, GBS organizes in-house competitions such as the Arabic Poetry competition, the Arabic Story Writing Competition, and Spelling Bee.
